We service and install residential and commercial equipment. Heat pumps are our speciality, but we work on straight cool systems and oil furnaces, too.

Action is located at 134 Masters Drive, St. Augustine, FL 32084. Our company is owned and operated by Michael (Mike) E. Stover, President and Patricia (Patti) A. Stover, Vice President. Mike was born and raised in St. Augustine, and his wife, Patti, has lived in St. Augustine for 26 years. They opened the business in 1982 and they were a 2-person show. Now, after 25 years, they have grown (not so much by advertising, but by word-of-mouth and recommendations from their customers--see our Testimonial Section), to 4 service technicians, 8 installers, 2 office personnel, and 1 commercial salesman, not including Mike and Patti.

Action offers FREE estimates on replacement systems and new construction projects. Our owner, Michael E. Stover, is an expert in computing Energy Sheets and Manual J Forms which are needed in new construction in order to pull a building permit and also needed for renovations, remodeling--in other words, any construction that needs a building permit. There are no charges for the forms if we are awarded the job. If not, there is a small charge for computing the paperwork.

During the middle of a hot or cold spell is not the best time to find out your system is not functioning properly. In addition, keeping your system operating properly and efficiently in most cases will save more in electric costs than the cost of service and greatly extend the lifetime of the system. We offer semi-annual, renewable, maintenance agreements and if you are not interested in our maintenance agreements, we offer a twice a year service on systems.
